For over 100 years Syke’s has served the Flathead Valley. The restaurant is a casual and friendly dining experience with excellent food and generous portions at a great price, combined with a local flavor that is rare. The market is committed to locally grown quality products and it also contains specialty items not found elsewhere in the valley. Recent renovations have added a new chapter to the Syke’s story. Doug and Judy Wise owned the business for over 60 years and in the fall of 2010 local businessman Ray Thompson bought it and installed a team to carry on the friendliness while conducting a significant remodeling and addition. The market opened in the fall of 2011 and apartments will be coming in the summer of 2012. We are committed to preserving the principles and services that Syke’s was founded on: honesty, friendliness, and great value. Doug Wise summed it up well, “nobody goes away a stranger.” We look forward to you stopping in.
