Borsheim Jewlry Co. Inc., an upscale jewelry store, was founded in 1870 by Louis Borsheim, The first small store, offering a wide variety of merchandise to customers, was located in downtown Omaha, Neb. In 1986, Borsheims had outgrown its downtown facility, thus prompting a move to its current location in fashionable Regency Court. After a series of planned expansions, Borsheims is a 45,000-square-foot enterprise with customers in all 50 states and six continents. In 1989, Borsheims became part of the Berkshire Hathaway family. With more than 100,000 pieces of inventory, Borsheims is proud to offer an extensive selection of diamond and gemstone jewelry, fine watches, elegant tableware and gifts. In addition, Borsheims is home to a custom design and jewelry repair shop, an on-site appraisal laboratory, a variety of shipping services and an extensive selection of products for online purchases.
