General Description

Dr. Javier Gonzalez attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle with Honors. He returned to his home state of Colorado to complete an OB/GYN residency with the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. During his residency, he was inducted into the Alpha-Omega-Alpha Medical Honor Society for his teaching of medical students. Dr. Gonzalez moved back to the Pacific Northwest to complete a Fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Gonzalez is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in OB/GYN and URPS. He is passionate about empowering his patients to make healthcare decisions that improve their quality of life and help them return to things they enjoy. While not seeing patients, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children and is an avid fan of the NHL and the Colorado Avalanche and Gonzaga University basketball.
