As a women’s care nurse practitioner, Karen Nelson, FNP-BC, finds immense joy in helping patients reach their dreams of parenthood. After more than a decade working as a labor and delivery nurse alongside some of Las Vegas’s top physicians, Karen earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Touro University. A two-time DAISY Award winner, she takes pleasure in interacting with patients and improving the overall patient care experience. She enjoys learning about each patient’s needs and providing a holistic approach to help them live their best lives. For Karen, it is incredibly rewarding when patients leave the appointments feeling heard and included in their plan of care. Karen recharges outside the office by spending quality time with her husband, their three children, and two dogs. She finds joy in listening to engaging podcasts and letting the sunshine and fresh air rejuvenate her spirit and nourish her soul.
