Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Dr. Tyler Witzel comes from a family of career healthcare providers. He graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. He continued his studies and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest in Lebanon, Oregon. Dr. Witzel completed his internship and Family Medicine Residency with St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Witzel’s clinical interests include wellness and preventive medicine. After completing residency, Dr. Witzel joined the United States Navy, where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Professionally, Dr. Witzel is most proud of providing healthcare to our service members stationed in San Diego, California.
