General Description

Dr. Meyer is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive urologic surgeon. Having trained with world-renowned experts and pioneers of laparoscopic and robotic surgery, her clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer and kidney cancer. Dr. Meyer's clinical interests and surgical expertise also include the treatment of enlarged prostate (BPH), kidney stones, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, and urothelial cancers of the kidney and ureter. Dr. Meyer graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University. She received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society. She completed her internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins. She then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive urologic surgery at The Smith Institute for Urology at Northwell Health. She is currently the Director of Robotic Education and Associate Program Director at The Smith Institute for Urology at Lenox Hill.
