Dr. Badlani is a native of Miami, FL who has worked with diverse patient populations at multiple institutions in the Northeast. He attended medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital and his fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. Dr. Badlani sees the full spectrum of lung and breathing disorders both in the hospital and the outpatient setting and rounds in the intensive care unit as an intensivist. He has a particular clinical interest in asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, and NTM (nontuberculous mycobacteria). He also has a special interest in quality improvement and patient education to help people better understand their own medical conditions. He is fluent in English and Spanish and welcomes new patients.
