Dr. Satterfield earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and remained there to complete his residency in general surgery and postgraduate year in cardiothoracic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He went on to complete an additional year of advanced training at Booth Memorial Hospital.
