Jason Lorenc, MD, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with more than two decades of experience providing care and advancing emergency medicine in Northern New York. He previously served on the medical staff from 2003 to 2023 and has held leadership roles as Emergency Medicine Department Chair for Canton-Potsdam Hospital and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine Services for the St. Lawrence Region. Dr. Lorenc completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has extensive experience in emergency medicine, physician leadership, and rural healthcare.
