We offer a knowledgeable staff, safe and proven procedures, and the latest in Chiropractic Technique. Custom Made Orthotics ......Foot Levelers, Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers. We perform a digitalized standing bilateral foot scan. If a need for orthotics is indicated, a printout of the support areas of both feet is displayed. The custom orthotics will support all three arches of each foot via a resilient non-rigid support. The feet are the foundation of the body. Poor pedal support can cause ankle, knee, pelvis, and spinal problems. Our foot supports are a great help in balancing structural alignment and holding the spinal corrections that we perform. Because we stand on our feet, our tests are performed in the standing, weight bearing, position. Nutritional Counseling: Dr. Diane Gregory Hennessy is a NY State licensed dietician and has a Masters degree in Nutrition. She works individually with patients seeking help with weight, stress. and fatigue problems. We stock a plentiful supply of natural supplements. Dr. Diane and her husband Dr. Edward Hennessy present talks on nutrition and various common health problems at the office in the evenings. These presentations are available at no charge. R.O.M. Range of Motion Machine?Wellness Program In 2007 we expanded our wellness program with the addition of the world famous R.O.M. machine. The R.O.M. is a four minute exercise machine that won a Popular Science "Best Exercise Machine" award. Patients are able to use the machine up to six times a week for a very low fee. Orthopedic Pillows: We provide several different types of water, contour, and travel pillows. They help you to get a good night's sleep by properly supporting your head and neck. Auto Seat Cushions: For a more comfortable car ride some patients need a special cushion. We have several types available. Health bridges: We use three different sized arches designed to improve the flexibility of your spine. They are especially helpful for patients with "slumped" shoulders or "hunched" backs. Ice Packs: We utilize cryotherapy on all areas of the spine and extremities. Massage: Make an appointment several days in advance. We also provide: ultrasound, Inverse gravity, prone and supine lumbar traction, seated cervical traction, ectro-muscle stim, tubing and other exercise programs.
