General Description

The Harbor Crab first came to life in November of 2000. After several trips to Maryland's coastline and its many famous Crab House Style Restaurants, we discovered a style of hospitality and "fun seafood" not yet seen on Long Island. It seemed odd because the waters surrounding Long Island produce almost as much of the country's crabs as Maryland. And so the seed was planted... The Harbor Crab evolved on the Mighty Patchogue River November 26th 2000. While "The Crab" is renowned for its fresh exotic seafood we serve a wide array of chicken, pasta and beef specialties as well. "The Crab" is a two-level, casual restaurant with over 80 seats outside under the sun and moon. We have two bars with live music nightly. The Harbor Crab offers catering in four separate rooms on-premise and we can cater to your every need off-premise as well. We are extremely kid-friendly and enjoy getting to know new families. If you come by boat to enjoy lunch or dinner you'll be greeted by our friendly dockhand. There is no charge for transient docking for our patrons. Seasonal boat slips are available in over 50 slips for boats from 20-50ft.
