Dr. Raghuram “Ram” Posham is a board certified vascular and interventional radiologist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is an assistant professor of radiology and an attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Posham specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments that reduce pain, shorten recovery time, and allow patients to return to normal life as quickly as possible. His contributions to the medical community have been recognized with various honors, including the Editor's Award for Outstanding Clinical Research at the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting and the Burton Drayer Prize in Radiology and Imaging from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Posham served as chief resident for the Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. He holds an MD with Distinction in Research from the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
