General Description

Much of my background in medicine involved working with the medically underserved in Birmingham, Alabama. It is my joy to provide excellent medical care - offered with love - to anyone who comes into my clinic, no matter what their walk of life. \n I'm also passionate about women's health. It's important to me to see women being offered options and guidance for their health that allow them to feel empowered to make good decisions for themselves. \n I completed a fellowship in faculty development at the University of Alabama - Birmingham because I want to be part of leading, teaching and empowering the next generation in healthcare. I strive to help develop more caring physicians with excellent interpersonal skills. \n My amazing husband and I have three beautiful children and two rescue animals. We all enjoy the outdoors and experiencing nature. Some of my best memories are of backpacking for a few weeks on the Appalachian Trail.
