I am originally from Greensboro, NC, and graduated from NC State University before spending 11 years in Chapel Hill, NC, completing my medical training. Throughout my career, I have believed that the best patient care starts with listening. I enjoy meeting patients wherever they are in life, learning about their health goals and the activities they enjoy, and working together to develop a plan that helps them get back to doing what matters most to them. My approach to treatment is evidence-based, individualized, and patient-centered. I see my role as an advisor, providing the knowledge and guidance patients need to make informed decisions while recognizing that they are ultimately in charge of their health and personal goals. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially taking trips to the pool with my two young children. I also enjoy traveling, playing golf, and fishing.
