General Description

Dr. David M. Kaplan is a distinguished physician with over 50 years of experience. Dr. Kaplan is our Medical Director at Saved Health; he has a passion for mental health and addiction medicine. While he did not start in mental health and was a Primary Care Physician for about 30 years in Summerfield, he has developed a passion for substance use and mental health. He holds a medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency at York Hospital. He also works at a nursing home in Stokes County. In his spare time Dr. Kaplan enjoys spending time with her significant other Pam, his children, and friends. He takes Tai Chi classes every week and enjoys walking every morning.
