General Description

I chose to become a physician because I wanted a career focused on improving the lives of others, particularly the people of North Carolina. I was, in fact, born at Rex Hospital, and I am excited to give back to this community. I practice patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based medicine and current clinical guidelines to provide care that reflects both the latest medical knowledge and each patient's individual needs and goals. My clinical interests include general urology, with a particular focus on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stone disease, and robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy reading, watching films, traveling, playing golf, and spending time with my wife and family.
