When a cardiology patient has a decision to make about medical care, I believe they should have as much information as they want. As a pharmacist specializing in heart care, I work to provide that information. I want patients to understand their options, so they can be comfortable with their care plan.\n I have earned numerous distinctions for providing care to cardiology patients. There are many medications that can improve quality of life and outcomes for patients with heart failure and other cardiac conditions. Working closely with each member of a patient's cardiac care team allows us to avoid potentially problematic medications and select ones that work well together. \n Going to the beach and getting out on the water are some of my favorite activities, so the North Carolina coast is a great place to call home. When I'm not at the ocean, you can find me traveling or watching football. I cheer for both the Florida Gators and the Carolina Panthers, even when times are tough for the teams!
