I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of urology. My years at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during wartime kindled a special interest in trauma and reconstruction. Improving the quality of life for my patients is the best part of my practice. \n I joined Novant Health New Hanover Urology in 2023 after retiring from the military. Before that, I was chief of urology at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, and before that I was chief of urology at Martin Army Community Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. \n I am a member of the American Urological Association and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. \n I have been married since 2006 to the love of my life, Caroline. Along with our children and our dog, we enjoy hiking and sailing, and have extensive experience hiking throughout Europe and sailing throughout the Mediterranean.
