General Description

Dr. Christopher Fleming chose a career in medicine, and specifically obstetrics and gynecology, so he could enrich the lives of women and their families. Dr. Fleming is particularly interested in preventive care for women of all ages. Contraceptive management and care of common gynecologic conditions, such as abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal PAP tests, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts, are a significant part of his practice. He also prescribes and manages hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Fleming concentrates on gynecologic conditions, which includes both office practice and surgical care. He performs many minor procedures, such as dilation and curettage (D&C), tubal ligations, uterine ablations and vulvar procedures, as well as advanced laparoscopic surgeries and robotic surgeries, including removal of pelvic masses, ovarian cysts and the uterus (hysterectomy). Dr. Fleming and his wife have four adult children and two grandchildren. He enjoys hiking and fishing in national parks. He is a lifelong member of Trout Unlimited and goes fly fishing as frequently as he can.
