Early on, he excelled at cardiology and ultimately chose cardiac electrophysiology, the study of heart rhythm disorders, as his subspecialty. The complexity of rhythm disorders and the advanced technologies that can provide meaningful improvements to patients are the real reasons behind Dr. Patel's specialization in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Patel is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi. He and his wife, a pediatrician, have two young children.
