Nick Shears founded Shears Renovations LLC in 2010 when he started his career in carpentry work in his hometown of Portsmouth, Ohio which later led to the filing in 2020 to license Shears Renovations LLC to perform his services in Dayton and the surrounding neighbor cities on the western coast of the state. He also acquired an alias name of "The Carpenter" by a local that he shared his time with and gave testimony to on why he values the gifts he was graciously gifted. This led to his own adopting of the label as well as his employees. He based his construction company on the core values of excellence, wisdom, honesty and faith which were instilled in him by his family and his relationship with God. The company's emphasis on quality of service, hard work, teamwork, and responsiveness to client needs remain central to this vision. Additionally, each Shears Renovations project upholds the company hallmarks of quality craftsmanship with comforting affordability. Shears Renovations continues to support the local community through volunteer efforts, as well as supporting many local charities and nonprofit organizations. Looking forward, Shears Renovations aims to continue to serve customers with wide-ranging residential construction services across The Great Miami Valley, while continuing to follow the core values that have guided the company from its inception.
