Every day, I'm humbled by my patients' resilience in the face of the adversity of living with Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis (IBD). Their stories inspire me at a deep personal level to be the absolute best physician I can be. I want to build a partnership with my patients, so they know we are treating their IBD together and that every decision we make is a shared decision. I will help them understand their disease better, understand the tests they go through and the medicines they're on. Beyond prescribing medications, I will offer my patients the latest research on effects of sleep, exercise, meditation and healthy eating so to empower them to take control of their symptoms.
