I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and I obtained my law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law after graduating from Oregon State University. During my second year of law school, I worked as a law clerk on criminal and DUII defense matters in the Portland Metro Area. As a third-year law student, I interned with the Lane County Public Defender's Office and later worked at a boutique criminal defense and DUII law firm in Portland, Oregon, where I trained under former prosecutors and experienced defense attorneys. I have taken on hundreds of cases and am certified by NHTSA and IACP to conduct field sobriety tests. I use my expertise to assist clients in DMV hearings and DUI trials throughout Oregon. I have also helped countless individuals by instructing CHL classes, challenging the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and assisting in obtaining Federal Firearms Licenses.
