Here at Cilantro, we have two passions: bringing you the freshest, most delicious Mexican food in New England, and being the best neighbors that we can be. Luckily for us, those two passions go hand in hand. When we go looking for the freshest foods and the best products, we find them right here in New England. We partner withFarm Fresh Rhode Island and with other suppliers of locally grown foods for every menu item that we can buy locally. We haven’t figured out how to grow avocados here, but if we could…! We also buy many other supplies locally, like our paper goods, which come from Southern New England. And they’re biodegradable, so your grandchildren won’t find our Belly bowls sitting in a landfill decades from now. Why do we do all this? Because we love local food. When you buy a Cilantro burrito or taco, your money doesn’t get sent to some corporate headquarters far away. Every penny you spend here stays right here, helping to grow other Rhode Island companies, farmers and industries.
