David R. Maldonado is a triple fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip arthroscopy, hip preservation surgery, and robotic-assisted hip replacement. He also has extensive experience in outpatient robotic hip replacement and hip resurfacing using minimally invasive approaches. Maldonado has treated collegiate, professional, and elite-level athletes, including NFL, NBA, MLS, and MLB players. He treats patients from across the country and takes pride in caring for every patient like a professional athlete. He’s also an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Maldonado’s medical background includes advanced training in hip arthroscopy/preservation, sports medicine, and adult joint reconstruction.
