General Description

Monique received her undergraduate and master's in nursing from Texas State University in Round Rock, TX. Her specialty is in Family Medicine. Originally from San Bernardino, CA, Monique left when she was 18 to serve in the U.S. Air Force as an Aerospace Medical Technician and EMT. She enjoyed traveling the world and taking care of patients while serving her country. After her military experience, Monique became a nurse and worked mainly in Emergency Room and Nursing and Rehabilitation facilities. She started at Family Emergency Room as a night shift nurse and has now become our midlevel provider for our Primary Care patients. In her spare time, Monique enjoys working out, reading, and hanging out with her children.
