Kamel M. Itani, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in oculoplastic and orbital surgery and ophthalmic oncology. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 1993. Dr. Itani has authored numerous academic papers, letters, and book chapters and is a national and international lecturer on ophthalmic surgery and oncology. Dr. Itani was named a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly in 2018.
