The Altdorf Biergarten was founded in 1977 and is located on Main Street in historic Fredericksburg, Texas. It has been under the same management and ownership since 1985. We feature casual dining in a truly unique setting. Our landmark limestone building dates to back 1847, and contains four dining areas. But we are best known for our authentic outdoor biergarten, shaded by large trees, where you may drink with friends or enjoy fabulous outdoor dining at its best. Come and enjoy a meal with us, either inside or outside, or just come by to refresh with a cool beverage of your choice. We feature, of course, mouth-watering German specialties as well as an outstanding selection of appetizers, Tex-Mex entrees, our famous burgers, cool salads, and a children's menu.
