General Description

Hyon S. Kang, DO, first completed his medical degree at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2000. He then went to the Willford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas to complete his residency in 2003. From there, Dr. Kang went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville in 2006. Dr. Kang joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2025. He treats patients for a variety of gastrointestinal problems, such as trouble swallowing, liver disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, and more. His clinical interests include the treatment of acid reflux, peptic ulcers, biliary and pancreatic disorders, and colon cancer prevention.
