Dr. Prathyusha Savjani, an experienced adult and pediatric allergist and immunologist at our Heights clinic, has over a decade of experience in her field. She studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine here in Houston. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology; she has been seeing pediatric and adult patients since 2011. In this time she has seen patients in New Orleans, Manhattan as well as different areas of Houston exposing her to a diverse patient population. Her clinical interests include pediatric food allergy, seasonal and environmental allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, sinus disease, anaphylaxis, eczema, angioedema, and immune deficiency. Her practice is built on providing personalized care to patients of all ages and employing evidence-based medicine, with treatments and recommendations rooted in the latest scientific literature. Her practice offers appointments within days or same-day if possible, with varying opening and closing times to allow for early and late visits. A resident of the Heights, Dr. Savjani is married and the mother of two young sons. Her favorite hobbies are traveling, vegetarian cooking and spending time with her family.
