Bhojani is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Additionally, he serves as program director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at UTHealth Houston. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine, Bhojani is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He earned a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction in research from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His internship and residency training were completed at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston, where he served as chief resident. Bhojani completed fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at Henry Ford Hospital System in Detroit, Mich. Bhojani is the chief medical officer for the Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash. He’s a team physician for the Houston Rockets, the University of Houston, and East Bernard High School. He also oversees the Sports Medicine Outreach Program for Memorial Hermann Health System. Bhojani is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and other medical associations. He has contributed to numerous journal articles and textbooks.
