Timothy S. Achor, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in orthopedic trauma with an emphasis on severe musculoskeletal injuries of the pelvis, hip, knee, and ankle, as well as nonunions and complications of fractures. Achor is an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. In addition, he is the director of the orthopedic trauma fellowship program at the medical school and Memorial Hermann Hospital —Texas Medical Center. Achor is active in educating medical students, residents, and fellows at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and national conferences. He’s a member of many professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Orthopedic Trauma Association, and AO Trauma North America.
