Scott Downs has a background in premium residential therapy, outpatient therapy, and private practice. His background includes years as a full-time therapist, Executive Director, and Clinical Director, serving hundreds of youths and their families. With his BS in Psychology and master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, he expanded his clinical reach with pursuits in treating anxiety, depression, attachment injuries, oppositional defiance (OD), and couples therapy. Scott's unique approach to therapy involves a keen focus on family dynamics and the identification of family structure errors and engagement. This approach provides families and individuals with a more direct and effective route to healing. Modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused/Strength-Based models, and Family Systems Theories. Scott enjoys mountain biking, golfing, and fly fishing with his wife and three children.
