Originally from Idaho, Brian Wirkus, PA-C, completed his undergraduate degree at Boise State University and started his medical career in the military. He joined the Idaho Army National Guard as a medic and, having served a deployment to Iraq, increased his desire and compassion to help people in need. After his time there, he moved to Toledo, Ohio, to pursue his passion for medicine and received his master's in physician assistant studies from the University of Toledo. Brian brings his patients a warm, compassionate practice style, knowing everyone deserves respect and kindness. He believes in creating a shared decision-making experience with his patients on their wellness journeys. His experience includes trauma surgery before transitioning to urology. Outside work, he enjoys spending most of his time outdoors, hiking and camping with his dog.
