A native of Potomac, Maryland, Dr. Al-Attar completed his undergraduate and medical school studies at Georgetown University, and then remained at Georgetown Hospital for plastic surgery residency under the legendary surgeons Scott L. Spear, M.D., and Christopher E. Attinger, M.D. Following residency, Dr. Al-Attar went to the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital/New York University, for fellowship training in aesthetic surgery.
