Erika Pashai, M.D., is an internal medicine physician with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Dr. Pashai was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area, and she has actively engaged in various volunteer activities, empowering and guiding young minds toward their pre-medical goals. She has showcased her dedication to research, with several of her abstracts being published in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on crucial topics in gastroenterology and vaccination acceptance among IBD patients. Her career goal is to decrease barriers to access to health care in vulnerable populations and empower future generations of medical professionals. Outside of work, Dr. Pashai enjoys riding horses, dancing, traveling and reading.
