Dr. Heather Ashley was born and raised in Abingdon, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. After graduating, she began working as an optometric technician, which is how she developed her passion for eye care. She then moved to Memphis, Tennessee where she completed her Doctorate in Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Ashley focuses on comprehensive eye care, diabetic eye disease, contact lenses, dry eye disease, co-management of refractive surgeries, and emergent and urgent eyecare. Dr. Ashley loves seeing patients of all ages and considers herself a family eye doctor.
