Yukubu "Kubey" Carriker joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in August 2024, following a 21- year career in the United States United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Kubey understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Kubey has a Master’s degree in Technology & Intelligence from National Intelligence University and a Master’s degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor Degree in Technical Management. He holds Series 6, Series, 63, Series 65, and the SIE securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, North Carolina, Texas, and Georgia. Kubey is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. His areas of focus include: -Comprehensive financial planning -Debt management -Military benefits -Investment strategies Active in his community, Kubey is affiliated with Ten Ten Life as a Board Member, is the production lead for his church, and leads a faith-based men's group in Northern Virginia. In his free time, Kubey enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and traveling.
