General Description

I have a strong family history of addiction and that’s what led me to a career in AODA counseling. My approach is to use person-centered and cognitive therapy. I enjoy listening and coming up with a treatment plan together as a team. Those “light bulb moments” are the best part of my job. When I see a client work so hard to make a change and then realize what a difference it has made, I feel really proud. I know it’s not always easy to ask for help, but I do my best to be approachable, provide comfort and share honest feedback.
