General Description

Originally from Rochester, New York, Dr. Adam Bulter attended Pennsylvania State University for his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel. Dr. Bulter completed a general surgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and a fellowship in trauma surgery and surgical critical care at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. In addition to caring for patients as a general and trauma surgeon, Dr. Bulter serves as Medical Director of Surgery for Good Samaritan Hospital and Chief of Surgery for Good Samaritan Hospital, providing clinical leadership and helping advance high-quality surgical care across the organization. Dr. Bulter's clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He joined SCL Health Medical Group because of the unique opportunity to care for patients requiring elective and emergency surgery, as well as patients recovering from traumatic injuries and accidents. "I am passionate about providing the best possible experience for my patients both in the operating room and at the bedside. My goal is to restore my patients to their normal lives as if they were never in the hospital." When not working, Dr. Bulter enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors, especially skiing and hiking with his wife and their two rescue pups.
