As an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, I specialize in complex lung diseases, including severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, nontuberculous mycobacteria, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, lung nodules and pleural effusions. Some procedures I currently use are bronchoscopy, chest tubes and thoracentesis. I am board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. My focus is on nontuberculous mycobacteria.
