Bradley A. Salus is an optometrist and assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Frederick and Bethesda, Maryland, locations of the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. His areas of emphasis include comprehensive eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, ocular surface disease and dry eye, glaucoma management, and ocular pathology triaging and management. He was the Wilmer Eye Institute’s inaugural optometry resident in primary eye care, with an emphasis in specialty contact lenses from 2023–2024. His approach to patient care is being thorough and compassionate, emphasizing patient communication and evidence-based approaches for treatment and management decision-making.
