He taught at both Emory University and the University of Cincinnati, where he worked with the Cincinnati Center for Bone Infection to develop a multidisciplinary approach to addressing acute and chronic orthopedic infections. Dr. Palacio-Bedoya in believes meeting his patients where they are and listening carefully to determine their individual needs and concerns. Dr. Palacio-Bedoya and his wife, also a physician, have two children. A stay in Cincinnati for his wife's fellowship at Children's Hospital clinched their desire to make the area home.
