As a board-certified physician, he specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. He is especially interested in immunocompromised infections, hepatitis B/C and pneumonias. Dr. Klingen prioritizes building meaningful relationships with his patients and their families, gaining a deep understanding of their care needs. Acknowledging that treatment plans must adapt to each patient's progress, he emphasizes consistent communication. He encourages people stay current on recommended vaccines and avoid taking antibiotics unless advised by a physician. While in Texas, Dr. Klingen met his wife, who is also a physician. Together, they chose to settle in her hometown of Cincinnati.
